BRAC Summary: BRAC 2005 recommendations recognize Fort Carson as one of the Army s larger maneuver training installations. The Army intends to increase the number of operational units at Fort Carson. The recommendations validate the plan to temporarily station an Infantry Brigade Combat Team (BCT) at Fort Carson in 2006, along with the two BCTs currently stationed at Fort Carson.
