BRAC Summary: Close Paul Doble Army Reserve Center in Portsmouth, NH; and relocate units to a new Armed Forces Reserve Center and associated training and maintenance facilities adjacent to Pease Air National Guard Base, NH, if the Army is able to acquire suitable land for the construction of the facilities. The new AFRC and complex will have the capability to accommodate New Hampshire National Guard units from the following New Hampshire ARNG armories: Rochester, Portsmouth, Somersworth and Dover, NH, if the state decides to relocate those National Guard units.

Property Description: This on-going BRAC project will provide for the new construction of an Army Reserve Center Building approximately 20,833 SF, unheated storage of approximately 610 SF, parking lots and all necessary supporting utilities. The training building will provide administrative, educational, assembly, library, learning center, vault, weapons simulator, and physical fitness areas for approximately 90 Army Reserve soldiers. The project will also provide adequate parking space for all military and privately-owned vehicles.
