BRAC Summary: Close SSG Roy Kuhl US Army Reserve Center and Maintenance Facility in Ripley and the MAJ Elbert Bias USAR Center, Huntington, WV and re-locate units into a new Armed Forces Reserve Center in the vicinity of Ripley, WV, if the Army is able to acquire land suitable for the construction of the facilities. Property Description: This 48,849 SF project provides a 196-member training facility with administrative, educational, assembly, library, learning center, vault, weapons simulator, and physical fitness areas for four Army Reserve units and one National Guard unit. The maintenance shop provides work bays and maintenance administrative support. The project provides adequate parking space for all military and privately-owned vehicles.
