Chemical and Material Risk Management Program

Collaboration and Engagement

Interested in joining the DoW Global Chemical Management Integrated Product Team (IPT)?

This IPT is open to DoW and DoW contractors to learn about EC activities at quarterly meetings. Please reach out to osd.pentagon.ousd-atl.mbx.cmrmp@mail.mil to be added to the email distribution list for notifications about future meetings, EC developments, and the monthly EC Newsletter.

The EC Newsletter (known as EC News) contains updates about ECs on the Watch List and Action List related to evolving regulation/policy developments, scientific developments, and market drivers.

Request Information

For questions or to share concerns on emerging chemical issues, please contact us through the Contact POC page or email our program mailbox: osd.pentagon.ousd-atl.mbx.cmrmp@mail.mil

Requests for Information (RFIs)

Opportunities to collaborate and share information with the program include RFIs. Responses to RFIs enable the program to better understand important topics like critical chemical uses, potential impacts from regulations, availability of alternatives, supply chain transparency, and more. These responses are used solely for informational purposes. RFIs are issued through SAM.gov, and potential responders are encouraged to refer to the site for all relevant information.

Below is a table of closed and open RFIs. Please note that CMRMP still welcomes responses from companies on closed RFIs. Reach out to the program mailbox: osd.pentagon.ousd-atl.mbx.cmrmp@mail.mil

DoW Chemical Information Program (CIP)

To advance supply chain transparency in chemical and material content disclosures, CMRMP is working with the Defense Logistics Agency, which is leading technical integration efforts including a full material disclosure (FMD) pilot program. The objective of CIP is to obtain, process, and store digitally the FMD of all products (chemicals, articles, weapons, etc.) purchased by the Department.
