Property Description: The Lexington Bluegrass Army Depot (LBAD) consisted of two separate facilities located in central Kentucky. The property subject to BRAC was the Lexington
facility, a 777-acre site approximately 10 miles east of Lexington and north and adjacent to the town of Avon in the counties of Fayette and Bourbon. The Bluegrass portion is located near
Richmond.
