BRAC Summary: In 2000, the Army made a determination of excess making the remaining 7,271 acres available for disposal, and, in October 2002, responsibility for environmental cleanup operations and property conveyance were transferred from the Army Materiel Command to the ACSIM BRAC Division.

Property Description: The Badger Army Ammunition Plant is a Non-BRAC Excess United States facility located near Baraboo, Wisconsin. It manufactured nitrocellulose-based propellants during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
