BRAC Summary: In 1998, the Army excessed the remaining 9,992 acres. In October 2002, the Army transferred oversight responsibility for environmental cleanup and property conveyance from the Army Materiel Command to the ACSIM BRAC Division.

Property Description: Indiana Army Ammunition Plant is located approximately 10 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky. Indiana Army Ammunition Plant is comprised of approximately 10,649 acres in Clark County, Indiana. Of this, the Department of the Army excessed an 858.63-acre parcel of land per BRAC 1988. In 1998, the Army made a determination of excess making the remaining 9,992 acres available for reuse.
