BRAC Summary: In October 2002, responsibility for environmental cleanup operations and property conveyance were transferred from the Army Materiel Command to the ACSIM BRAC Division.

Property Description: The St. Louis Army Ammunition Plant (SLAAP) was located in the northwest section of the city of St. Louis, MO, bounded by Goodfellow Blvd to the west, a commercial/industrial com-plex to the south, and by Interstate 70 to the north and east. It was originally comprised of approximately 21 acres and nine buildings, all of which have been demolished.
