Air Quality Management

Course Description

The Air Quality Management course is an Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) ISEERB course for Navy and DoD students.  The air course prepares activity/installation Air Quality Managers for managing an activity/installation air quality management program. Topics include: Compliance, emission inventories and processes, sampling, permitting, pollution prevention and reduction strategy, control technology, indoor air quality, resource management, EPA perspective, conformity, sampling and analysis modeling, emission control technology and emission credits. There is also an Advanced Air Quality Management course (WENV 532).  The objective of this course is for each student to comprehend advanced technical and regulatory requirements of air quality. The course will enable students to build on basic knowledge to effectively manage a complex and dynamic air quality program.

Personnel Eligible

The course is intended for military Active duty or a civil service employee working in air compliance whether at regional or facility level.
