Radiological Site Management

Course Description

This 3-day course instructs civilian and military personnel on how to plan and execute Remedial Investigations (RI) and Feasibility Studies (FS) at Low Level Radioactive Waste Sites (LLRW) with current regulations and policies. This course focuses on environmental restoration and installation facility sites. The Radiological Site Management (RSM) course effectively instructs RPMs on the roles and responsibilities of properly managing a radiological site. The course is comprised of classroom instruction as well as a Hands-on Laboratory which provides students with a working knowledge and understanding of procedures and techniques for managing a radiological IR site.
