present. Industrial facilities were used for digital photographic processing; grounds and maintenance; mechanical and structural shops; an entomology shop; the Navy’s boat testing and
maintenance; and hazardous waste accumulation points. Other functions include housing, a medical/dental clinic, a gas station, auto craft shop and a marina. The Army leased the historic
Chamberlin Hotel to a developer and the developer renovated the Hotel into luxury retirement apartments.
