Warning: not to be used for identification.

Photos are provided as examples of common munitions of particular concern.  Because many munitions are similar, an expert, such as a military Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) or police bomb technician is required to positively identify the type munition encountered and the hazard posed.  Public presentations, even by EOD or bomb technicians, should only identify munitions in a general fashion (e.g., artillery projectiles, hand grenades).
