BRAC Summary: The Fairfield Army Family Housing Site was constructed in 1958 to support the adjacent NIKE missile battery. In 1961, the missile site was closed and the property excessed. The housing was retained for use by active duty personnel with Fort Devens providing installation oversight through closure and property trans-fer. The housing site was closed in 1990.

Property Description: The housing site was located on 7.04 acres of land in Fairfield, Fairfield County, CT. It consisted of 28 “Capehart”-style single-family housing units.
