BRAC Summary: The Manchester Army Family Housing Site was constructed in 1958 to support the adjacent NIKE missile battery. In 1961, the missile site was closed and the property excessed. The housing was retained for use by active duty personnel. Fort Devens provided installation oversight through closure and property disposal. The housing site was closed in 1990.

Property Description: The housing site was located on 12.98 acres of land in Manchester, Hartford County, CT. It consisted of 32 “Capehart”-style single-family, three-bedroom housing units.
