Vehicle Series, to other depot maintenance activities, including the private sector. Retain conventional ammunition storage, intern training center, Rubber Production Facility, and civilian
training education at Red River.
Property Description: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is a 19,113 acre facility located in northeast Texas, 18 miles west of Texarkana, Texas, in Bowie County. It is also located 150
miles west of Little Rock, Arkansas, and 170 east of Dallas, Texas. The states of Louisiana and Oklahoma are little more than an hour away. Because of its location, Red River AD is
considered part of an area called The Four States Area and is surrounded by many small, close-knit communities. The facility has over 1,000,000 square feet of storage capacity.
