BRAC Summary: Close the Grimes United States Army Reserve Center, Abilene, TX, and relocate B Company of the 413th Civil Affairs Battalion and the Area Maintenance Support Activity 11 Sub-Shop to a new Armed Forces Reserve Center with a Field Maintenance Shop on Dyess Air Force Base, TX. The new AFRC shall have the capability to accommodate Texas National Guard Units from the following Texas ARNG Readiness Centers: Abilene, Coleman, and Snyder, TX, and the Texas Army National Guard Field Maintenance Shop, Abilene, TX, if the state decides to relocate those National Guard units.

Property Description: The USARC is on 9.25 acres of land with two permanent buildings: a 17,493 sf training building and a 3,807 sf OMS.
